China Star III in Newport

Good hot and sour soup and egg rolls, otherwise would be a 1 Star.Generals chicken was bad, crab rangoons were awful.

Very good local Chinese spot. Food and service has always been great every time I’ve been. The house sauce general Tao and crab Rangoon are my personal favorite.

Everything is always fresh and not salty. Highly recommend!

Ordered to go today -- first time trying this restaurant. Food arrived promptly and is absolutely fabulous....got general tso tofu, beef broccoli, shrimp with garlic sauce. EXCELLENT!

I have only ordered takeout but the food is amazing!! My son loves curry beef. I enjoy shrimp with Chinese vegetables. We have tried other items and have not been disappointed.

Excellent food! Everything was delicious - the mo po tofu, the sweet and sour soup, the shrimp with Chinese vegetables, and the sauteed broccoli string beans and snow peas. And we have leftovers - yum! Great quick takeout service.

Stay one night at newport, get menu from hotel front desk and decide to try. I order orange chicken and Singapore mei fun. Food are very good and fresh, fast delivery.

Worst service ever . the lady who took our order was extremely rude! I asked her for a smoothie that they make and she said shes busy that she wont make it

Amazing experience for New Year’s Eve. We ordered huge food for 30 people but China star iii can delivered them on the time. All The food hot fresh all the delicious.

A great delivery/pick-up place for Chinese in Newport. The food is as good as any Chinese delivery can be.

Overall good, just wish I had more vegetables in my Lo Mein I ordered. It was practically 90% noodles.

I think its a typical family restaurant，specialized in take-out orders. It's hard to imagin the cookshop was so busy while we were the only customers sitting and waitting for dinner. The courses and dishes were western style with a Chinese nominally. It's unacceptable for me to have dinner with “万寿无疆”, that means long live, plate dish and without chopsticks.

Everything always is ok .I love their general Tso chincken. Big order are always ready in 15 minutes. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for some quick Asian food in this area

Solid delivery spot for this area. Variety of dishes we ordered were all great. Especially liked the szechuan noodles with ground pork - very good. BBQ ribs were good, chicken wings nice and crispy, and the entrees were exactly as expected. Delivery was right on time.

Amazing place to eat on a budget in Newport, which is filled with overpriced restaurants. Ten dollars will get you truly full combo plate two two main entrees, sides, and pork fried rice. Staff is friendly and cooks up a storm. I love China Star!!!

Ended up ordering from China Star one evening and the service was lightning fast! We havent been let down since. Great customer service and deliverers have always been pleasant. Will order again, Best Ragoon!

Here visiting from Pennsylvania and ordered from China Stars lll. The food was very good!We ordered a variety of food and enjoyed it all!

We got fried rice, spicy tofu, and sprint rolls. The food was garbage except for the fried rice. Everything else is too bland. Even the water had a weird flavor, so I got a coke. EVEN THE COKE WAS FLAT AND GROSS! Also the owners son kept messing with the fans and kept annoying everyone trying to eat. Its a restuarant not a playground. There is also no air conditioning! Never coming back!

This is the best place to get Chinese food at newport. Prices are fair, I know it is family Chinese place for a very long time!! Anytime we visit RI we always stop here to get some food!!!! All the food is great here!!!

I haven’t been there for a while I stopped by there to have small lunch alone. I am so happy to see their new change, more new food, cleaner and better service. I would like to bring my girlfriend together come back soon
